I saw them live the same year in Detroit, warming up for Ozzy on the Bark At The Moon tour. It was an indoor show, so much darker and w/ pyrotechnics.

I was 18 and I loved the shout at the devil album in spite of Vince Neil the lead squeaker.

They were early in the day . If I remember correctly Ozzy was after the Crue . Unfortunately this is exactly how they sounded . They were a very small band on a huge stage . Kind of the first course of a very long meal . Just enough to get your taste buds going . I was about 100' in front of Nick ... It was a great weekend Thanks WAZ

I didn’t realize it back in 1983, and this is my first time hearing this concert, Vince Neil was never a good singer pure vocal ability is D..only reason it’s not an F is because in the studio he could do it enough times to at least get on pitch, when he actually sings in a lower register it’s not bad, just his trying to sing high is cringe and definitely a “F”…They were a tight band though, and their songs are catchy, and Mick is good just a sloppy ,it’s live…. And like Vince he could deliver in the studio.. anyway…

I saw them Aug ‘23. That’s 40 years later! Was great to hear a few songs. Live Wire and Looks that Kill. Other than that, way too loud. All a ball of noice. Vince certainly aged.

He was a good singer but a bad person.
